I possess extensive experience in book design, starting my career as a desktop publishing specialist and swiftly advancing to the role of art director. My proficiency in desktop publishing enabled me to craft designs that effectively navigated the limitations of page size and content. Even in my current role as a web developer, these skills continue to be valuable and applicable.
Publications International
PIL publishes books and educational products in many categories, including virtual reality and other interactive learning experiences, reference, leisure, inspirational, automotive, and sports. The company also produces a wide variety of stationery under the New Seasons® division. Collectible Automobile® magazine, another division of PIL, presents an in-depth look at the cars and trucks that Americans have known and loved for decades, and the people behind the vehicles.
WVU Press
West Virginia University Press is the only university press, and the largest publisher of any kind, in the state of West Virginia. A part of West Virginia University, they publish books and scholarly journals by authors around the world, with a particular emphasis on Appalachian studies, history, higher education, the social sciences, and interdisciplinary books about energy, environment, and resources.
